Our History

Indo Pak UMC began in 1984 with the first gathering in forest preserve and subsequently in Rev Ernest Singh’s home in 1990 until June 2004. Ravenswood member nurtured and encouraged the congregation from the very beginning of our organization. 

Finally this congregation was chartered as a United Methodist congregation in August 2004 and moved to West Ridge UMC where Rev Singh the founding Pastor was appointed to serve the congregation on a half time basis. Rev Singh was also appointed to serve West Ridge on a half time basis. Indo Pak congregation grew and in 2016 he was appointed as a full time Pastor.
