Dear members of Indo-Pak Church,
Greetings in the precious name of Jesus!
I hope and pray that the summer season has brought some relief to all those who have gone through a difficult time during the past months. I am thankful to those who made extra effort to support and encourage Mrs. Shobha Das and the family during their time of loss and grief. I am also thankful to those who visited me, prayed and cried with me, and brought food for me while I was grieving the loss of my brother in the absence of my wife. Please continue to pray for Mr. Salomon Peters, Mrs. Rose Hameed, and Mr. George Sardar for health and healing.
My wife and I are pleased to announce that we have created a scholarship program for Indo-Pak college students, and donated $5,000 to it. We plan to donate another $5,000 next year. Eligible applicants will be offered $300 – $1,000 based on their needs and participation in the life of the church. Anyone enrolled in college for fall is asked to contact us immediately and complete the application by July 29th, 2017. Scholarship awards will be given out on August 6th during Sunday Worship.
Kindly help us to grow this program by making donations. I suggest that in the future, instead of giving me gifts for any occasion, that you make donations to this fund in my honor.
• Please come and join us on August 6th as we welcome well known author and scholar Dr. Sam George as our guest speaker. He will be bringing his newest book, After the Wedding Bells. Fellowship dinner will be provided by the Francis Family in celebration of their youngest son’s dedication and his birthday.
